Similar to one of the “helper” boxed meals but much healthier! This is a favorite around our house when I don’t feel like cooking a big meal.1 pound ground beef6-7 oz pasta (about 2 cups cooked)2 Tablespoons flour2 Tablespoons steak sauce1 teaspoon basil1/2 teaspoon garlic granules1/4 teaspoon All Purpose SeasoningSea salt and ground pepper to taste3/4 cup beef broth1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (I prefer KerryGold Dubliner)1/4 cup shredded Gruyere1/4 cup shredded Parmesan1/2 cup sliced black olives (optional)3/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional)Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and cool.Brown ground beef with seasonings and steak sauce. Strain off the fat.Add broth to the beef and heat to a slow boil. Boil for about 1 minute, stirring constantly. Add the olives and/or diced tomatoes (if using) and simmer for about 10 minutes.In a small, lidded container, shake the flour with about a 1/4 cup of water or additional beef broth. Stir into beef mixture and simmer until the sauce starts to thicken.Add cheese and heat/stir until blended then add the pasta and stir gently until pasta is coated with the sauce and all the cheese has melted.
