Slow Cooker Chili

I don’t do chili with beans or hamburger. And I’m not a fan of chili so hot you can barely taste it so this recipe is a nice compromise on the spiciness. I know a lot of people don’t like using mixes, but Shelby’s is really good as far as mixes go. 2 lbs round steak or swiss steak 32 oz can diced tomatoes 1 medium white onion 1/2 package "Carrol Shelby's Chili Mix" flour (to coat meat) 5-8 drops Tabasco sauce 1/2 teaspoon red/black pepper mix dash or two of chili powder Coat meat with flour. Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Cook on "Low" for 10-12 hours. Serve with grated cheddar cheese on top. Great with cornbread and honey butter! Stew meat can be used, but is more expensive than swiss or round steak. Using a slow cooker makes even "cheap" meats tender.
